I think his intention is to price match the first one at the Warehouse to $44, then get the second one free to get a total saving of $45.
Well, for me I am coming from two angles. One, the possibility of price matching to get second one for free. Two, some people, have Google Home Mini already from past deals and just want one, so why pay extra one for another $45?
Contacted The Warehouse and they will not price match this offer citing that "the product is currently on promotion and cannot be priced match. Regardless if it was not on promotion, technology products are excluded from the price promise policy."
Noel leeming do pricematch also however they pick and choose when it suits them and I can’t see them matching Bunnings and still being eligible for a second one free.
@nevergofullretail: last time i had trouble getting a price match cos noel leeming and the warehouse are owned by the same company and they said they only price-match competitors. eventually got one but depends on the staff you get.

Thanks for providing the image of the receipt,with that and proof of bunnings price the warehouse ended up refunding $49.40 today for my order of 2 during the weekend, i'm not sure why 10 percent was taken off instead of just a price match but i'm not complaining..
lol, you get pricematch + further 10% off for non technology products, so yeah got an extra bonus from an inexperienced staff member right there
