NGA on Application for Rural Fibre Connection

Does anyone know who I could contact for NGA on Application? Chorus told me to contact a broadband provider and Orcon/Vodafone told me to contact Chrorus?

    • yeah. Filed a complaint against Chorus. Don't know which company is jerking me around

    The protocol is that the customers raises the request with the broadband provider (your ISP) and they raise it with Chorus.

  • You can't contact Chorus directly, so it would be up to the ISP to sort it out. See if you can find a local WISP to help you out as they can contract Chorus and are generally more available and easier to work with.

        I am wondering if the issues is that the front-line staff at Spark, Orcon, and Vodafone (any ISP maybe) don't know anything much (or anything at all) about this.

        You might want to try posting a query at geekzone.co.nz in the NZ Broadband forum (https://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=49). Sometimes staff from Spark, Orcon, Vodafone, 2Degrees etc are there, and they may be able to point you in the right direction of who to contact specifically.
