    Cheers. This will get me back into ancestry once I have some free time. Lets see if I can finally go back further than the 1700s.

      I canceled immediately but it removed my subscription altogether. I reread OPs description and realized that he/she said to cancel 2 or so days before the end of the subscription (3rd-5th January in my case). So I redid the deal and will wait until the start of January.
