Hi guys,
I am thinking of getting a treadmill…… looking at NordicTrack 1750. Has been looking for awhile and doesn't seems to go on sale at all. Any tips? Voucher code etc? Much appreciated for any suggestions.
Thank you!

Just make sure the pickup location is not from one of those isolation hotels…
I totally agree with this.
I would buy something on, say, TradeMe. If you like it, and you are still using in, say, six or twelve months time, then either keep it if you are happy, or sell it on TradeMe, probably for the same that you bought it for, and buy what you now know you really want (maybe new if you like).
If you find you aren't using it after six months, then sell it on TradeMe, probably for the same that you bought it for.

Thanks. I have been looking out for it on trademe and marketplace. The good ones usually gone before I can arrange pickup. Lots of lower end models. But thinking going midrange to higher end model since partner also wants to use it. Apparently the entry level model don’t like being used more than 30 minutes a day.
I have to say I’m prob being very optimistic thinking we will use it that much …. 😅
But will keep watching out for it. Thanks 👍
Not sure what you mean by them being gone before you can arrange pickup? Most listings will say where they are based, and if you can pick-up (generally 'yes' for this type of thing - I would stay away from any that won't allow a pick-up for something this size).
If the reserve is okay, always place an initial bid - that (pretty much) stops it being withdrawn or the reserve price changing on you. Once you've done that, you can leave it until 20 mins before it closes if you want to try and snipe it, or just place an auto-bid to your true max if you prefer.
If you have questions, I would post them prior to placing any bid.
If you mean FaceBook (marketplace) as opposed to any other market place, I would stay away from that myself - too many shysters and time-wasters, whereas I have very rarely experienced either on TradeMe in almost twenty years.
Good luck!

Thanks Alan. Totally agree I just have to be more decisive. Good advice just to bid first. The reason with my delay basically because I have to run it by my partner regarding model and price. Two times now by the time I can get hold of him, it was sold … I guess I just have to make up my mind and don’t wait. Doesn’t help that we live in small town. So the choices are less than in Auckland. But thanks and appreciate your advice! 👍
Is there anything 2nd hand available? Fitness equipment is one of the most resold items on the market, people decide to go on a health buzz and use it once or twice then leave it laying around until they want the space back and resell it. You often see treadmills for free being given away so I would be looking for used.
