TIDAL Premium or HiFi NZ$4 for 4 Months (Includes Family Plans at Same Price) for New Users

100

Note that this is similar previous Tidal deals - but with a new link, for new users only (rather than existing users like the previous deal), and no need for a VPN.

Not as good as 6 mo free, but I missed that one, so this was still worthwhile.

  • Brilliant, thanks mate. Been meaning to give 360 Audio a test on my headphones (the Sony WH-1000XM4s which I'm sure by now are a Cheapies staple haha). This will work nicely.

  • Do you keep the months if you cancel immediately?

  • Apple music is free for 3 months as well (student/individual/family, new subscribers only). I enjoyed Tidal when I had it, especially for its high quality. Now i'm stuck on Youtube Music.

I'm still on this, but as I signed up in India it's costing me.something ridiculous like $3 a month for the entire family for full on YouTube premium. If they ever decide to stop that I think I'd actually pay full price for it, got so used to no ads in YouTube and the music service is usable.

      • Likewise. Feels weird going to someone elses house and seeing ads popup on their youtube. This is not the way. The only annoying part is having to downloads NZ apps from an apk source online. Also took a while to replace the Indian music recommendations 😄

        • What is this apk you're speaking of .. i just use the app store youtube music.

          • @wellydeal: I mean for other apps. If I want to get subway nz, amazon u.s, Bunnings powerpass, I have to download through an apk website rather than the google store since I'm technically in India.

            • @Wakrak: You don't have to keep it this way. I'm doing the same thing but I'm on the NZ Play Store.

              • @ABCDEFG: How did you get it like that? I changed my google payment address to India so I could get cheaper Youtube Premium, but now my entire Google Play Store is the Indian version. I know I can change between India and NZ, but I'm afraid that it'll stuff up the process and revert me back to NZ costs.

@Wakrak: I changed my address back as soon as I'd paid and have retained the Indian pricing.

              • @ABCDEFG: I just have a few Google accounts. I need apps from the UK and NZ and for a time also had Aussie apps that were region locked so ended up with 3 Gmail accounts one for each region, you can add limitless accounts to your phone and download apps from each one. When getting YouTube music I just made a fourth Indian account and added myself as a family member to avoid the problems all together.

            • @Wakrak: Oh, gotcha .. i dont have that problem - i get NZ apps no problems

      • Is there any trick to this, or just VPN??

@wellydeal: You've inspired me to try to get Spotify Indian prices, as my partner (not a bargain hunter) wishes to keep her Spotify account rather than swap every few months. Got to the Indian sign up page (my usual VPN was blocked, but another worked) and found I need an Indian credit card. Have asked an Indian friend, but he's been here for two years so assuming he won't have one any more.

            Gotta figure out a workaround!

            • @SpiltMilk: I think the Philippines was the best value Spotify. Based in the similar HotUKDeals threads it does sound like Spotify is much harder to sign up overseas accounts compared to YouTube

  • Nice one. Signed up for the HiFi option. May switch back to the premium one after 4 months depending on how noticeable the sound quality difference is
