Yea, I also have surf shark. Its pretty good so far, had it for a year already now and it was around $13 for 3 years plan after cashback.
I got in the same deal i think it was 85% cashback something. Surf Shark is good overall. I think I feel it's lacking is the linux app is not updated as often as windows & mobile ones. I have had issues with linux app in the past, so anyone looking to use on linux do your research first.

Did you have issues viewing Australia Freeview with Pure VPN?
Can't say I tried it. I mainly wanted UK TV, it sporadically works with the BBC and ITV but never worked at all with channel 4 or Netflix.
It's tempting, I mean at that price it's probably worth a look, but the app feedback on the Play store and Amazon app store is terrible, heaps of 1 star reviews and lots of apologising from the app developer.

I had issues with pure VPN not unlocking regional content. Just signed up to surf shark that already seems much more reliable already with much faster speeds. For a decent deal in it late yesterday with 2 years for about $83 and 65% cash back through top cash bank that looks to have tracked already.
