    I have Xiaomi AirDots (These ones I think https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/HSTMIX28592/Xiaomi-Mi-AirDo…) and I like them a lot. They go on sale heaps, 1-day or Dick Smith also have them.

    I guess the above are the updated version but the shape is completely different.

    And is it worth looking at the Mi True Wireless Earphones 2s instead, they're sort of bigger / longer but look like they might offer better performance perhaps ?

    They're about $400 cheaper so there's that. I believe this particular model is new so not a lot out there about them, the airdots 2 were mediocre so I wouldn't expect much if you are keen on sound quality.

      That's a bit of an exaggeration. The WF-1000XM3 are not worth $400. I bought mine last year for $230 new and a while ago they were around $260 new. Even the older brother XM4 is not worth $400 new anymore. Anyway, I am looking for sound quality and ANC. Guess I'll stick with my Sony and Bose….
