These plans are excellent for dual Sim card phones as you can run two providers at the same time, one using data and the other receiving and sending phone and text.

Also don't forget today is the last day to activate that black friday $1 deal for another three months of woohoo

    • yup, so good. free family sims for 3 months

    • Thanks for the reminder cheers

I bought 3 of them for family members- managed to activate 2 no problem - 1 thou is a pain in the ass - keeps telling me my credit cards are declined (for a zero dollar purchase) and there is nothing wrong with the credit cards - anyone else have activation issues?

      • +1

I did but contacted support and they generated a new code for me after confirming there was an issue with the one I had not accepting any of our credit cards when activating.

        • Great.. thanks for the reply - glad its not just me then, I will send them a note - cheers.

    • Wow… I almost forgot to use it today!! Thanks for the reminder!

    • Remember also this will likely turn on auto-renewal, even if you're applying it to an existing SIM and already disabled it for that account

    • you saved me. 11:55pm and saw your comment.

      • I missed out by 2 hours :(

I had a reminder in my phone for the 28th Jan for some stupid reason :/ damn it!

          • @Premoz: So the vouchers really do soon after 11:59 then? Often wondered whether they did. I actually did my last one at 11:55pm or so as well although because I decided to push it to the end as I think it affects plan expiry time. Although despite doing Kogan a few times I've never checked properly.

            • @Nil Einne: Yeah I tried all the vouchers I had and they all expired, I tried contacting support to see if they could help but they said they couldn't. Need to figure out what plan to go on now :/

              • @Premoz: I have done that a couple of times. Just tell them something like you were away from your city/home so couldn’t use it. Or your phone was broken or stolen. Or you tried but it did not go through for some reason and it was weekends so that’s why you didn’t contact Support Service. I’m sure they will provide you new voucher. But they are going to ask you to send the photos of Sim Package, Order Number, Voucher Code etc

                • @Manjit Gill: Hmm okay thanks for that, perhaps I will give them another try. Problem is I got them for the family so not sure they will honour 4 of them but no harm in trying the old out of town or it didn't work one :) Cheers.

          • @Premoz: same!!!! why the 28th idk ….

        • Have you tried to see if it still works? Cause ya never know eh.

          • @The Hound: Doesn't work unfortunately. I'm assuming they know that they can catch a few people out of pocket with expiring vouchers.

            • @Avantime: You are right. I never got a courtesy email reminder for this $1 promo, unlike previous deals.

    • got a link?

    • Hey, have you guys been experiencing extra slow kogan network for the past couple of days? Slow as a snail in Auckland CBD

  • seems only slightly better than skinny, but with none of their occasional perks

edit - oh i guess unlimited minutes is better if you use them

    • +3

Also skinny seems to think there's 13 months in a year.

      • yeah thats sneaky

        • +1

yeah they're defining a month as the no of days feburary has (as shortest as 28days)

      • Skinny has 200 minutes but kogan is unlimited bit handy when have small business

    • +1

IMO for a lot of people, the lack of carry over data is likely a big deal. If you use enough data that you come close to the limit and your usage varies a reasonable amount from month to month (e.g winter or summer differences), the 250MB extra could easily not make up for this.

    • I use kogan they have unlimited use of MMS too where skinny charge 50c per MMS and skinny doesn't have conference call option but kogan do

    • +1

I use Kogan Mobile, it says KOGAN MOBILE only they use Vodafone network

    • +1

      Why is this an issue?

      • Because it's wrong my blue haired tranny friend

        • Why is it wrong?

    • mine dsnt say anything, on skinny with s10e so not sure if skinny dsnt say anything or the phone. the less up top the better

  • That deal been for a while Whats the new

  • Did anyone notice $14.90 for 12 months total is 178.8 not $181

    • It's per 14.90 per 30 days, doesn't say per month.

      • It's still 360 days (But the website is for 365 day contract)and not Skinnys 336

  • this is RRP…you can buy it anytime.
