  • Have some of these. They are perfectly serviceable as a small fan to keep your face cool, but don't expect it to circulate air around a room or anything … unless you buy 16 of them, which isn't out of the question at that price.

But then you'll have to wait for a deal on USB chargers.

    • how good would they be for like keeping external HDD's cool?

      • Yep, certainly better than no circulation at all. And if you're concerned about reliability just set up all 4 :)

      • These fans are a bit noisy but will keep an external HDD's cool .I use the now discontinued Goldair Desk Fan 15cm USB open blades and slower rpm .I have a few of these warehouse fans and find them useful for keeping lithium batteries cool when charge them .A cheaper version of Noel Leeming's Endeavour equivalent which I have as well .

    • if you buy 30, its $50 after the $15 off $75 voucher ..haha

I bought a couple to keep laptop and PlayStation cool under the TV…

  • +1

I bought one a few years back and they were terrible (noisy and rattles). I dunno eh, maybe these are the improved models, but design-wise they are the same.

I bought these instead from ebay etc. and they are way better. Also seen them using it in the One newsroom on telly. The amount of airflow is very impressive from such a small unit. Can also be powered by 18650 batteries (we scavenged a few from those Warehouse powerbanks last year, remember? hehe). Prices will vary so you have to shop around.

    • One of the reviews on the warehouse said they returned a noisy one and got a quiet one. So might be bad quality control for cheap product.

    • ahh ok, coz I was considering Noctua fans with the usb adaptors, but its more expensive for reliability and quietness for some external drives

      • The ones I bought online (see above) can cool you AND external hdds lol, good powerful airflow.

  • What size are they? ie 80mm

  • Free shipping no longer works.

    • they are one time per account codes, try checking out with a different email address

  • I bought 2 of these last month for a little DIY Air Cooler I made. They worked well for my little project :)

  • I have one of these, flipped the blades round and they suck fumes away from my soldering iron, they are fine for the money.

  • i got 2, 1 is great, the other is faulty…… so if u get 2 good ones its a good deal

edit - contacted them and they are sending out a replacement, thats good
