  • Most likely 10c again.
Bloody fuel prices creeping back up

    • So nice to be driving a Nissan Leaf.

      • Yeah, but what's the kWh and range? I'd just got a hybrid.

        • Paid $10k for loaded 10 bar 24kwh, with about 100km on the range-o-meter. From central Auckland I can get to all 4 corners of the city and back for 60% battery (80% to 20% charge to conserve battery health). At 100% charge I can get to Orewa and back. There's enough fast chargers in the city (plus free fast chargers from Vector) for a quick top up (5 minutes and $3) if needed.

      • Indeed, I drive a Leaf and Outlander PHEV and don't even fuel up much at all but still post these…haha

It was around 15 cents cheaper just before the Xmas break. And our dollar has gained around 10 cents in the past couple of weeks. Fuel prices should be going down!

Gull Onehunga, 95 at $1.98, that is 30-40c cheaper than any other station.

    • Just be aware of which on/off ramp you take, and what time of day, because you will be stuck in Onehunga for days, lol.

    • It was 1.697 at Christchurch this time other major fuel station was 1.98

      • Yup, I filled up at Gull Hagley South this morning at $1.697. And to think that Aucklanders had to pay $1.98 - that's way overtaxed.

        • I think he meant Octane 95. But it's reported as $1.88 on Gaspy, for both 95 and 98. Shrugs.

          • @The Hound: Oh ok seems about right then , 98 is needed for all European cars , 95 hybrid but I put regular in my prius 's and probox which uses the same drive train as corolla
