I'm sure it can be a bit random, but for what its worth, I got my voucher last time without any issues - can't recall if I ordered online or purchased in store though. If in-store, I guess it would have to have been snail-mailed in, so risk of that not working too.
Does anyone know whether it has to be a single game for $25, or could it be, say, two $15 games?
Thanks,
Alan.
What's not clear is that after you make your purchase you should go to this page and complete this form.

Yeah, I don't think that even existed for last years promotion
It did. I completed it and I received a voucher.
@Stoic: You’ve done it today? Or last promotion? Did they email you the voucher or?
@RSTH: This was during the last promotion. I got the voucher in the mail. I don't remember how long it took but it did take quite a while. I got it sometime during the McDonalds Monopoly promotion.
It does say in the current T&C's though that it will be posted within 14 days of claim deadline 22 March.
@Stoic: Oh sweet! Did you get confirmation via email that your voucher had been accepted or sent out? Or did it just turn up once you filled our the form?
Terms and conditions can be found here - http://familygamenight.co.nz/terms.php
Spend $25 or more in one transaction on Hasbro board games at any The Warehouse during the promotional period and receive a Family Game Night voucher (voucher) redeemable for one McDonald's® Classics Share Meal worth $27, as further described below.
Also, it is a $27 share meal, not a $27 voucher:
Each voucher will be accepted at participating McDonald's® restaurants in exchange one McDonald's® Classics Share Meal which consists of one (1) x Big Mac®, one (1) x Cheese Burger, one (1) x Quarter Pounder®, one (1) x McChicken®, two (2) medium fries, two (2) small fries, two (2) x medium soft drinks and two (2) x small soft drinks at any participating McDonald's® restaurant in New Zealand, subject to availability. Thanks NZBigC - Seems to be plural, so it can be more than one game to get to $25:

Alan.
That explains the person I saw at the warehouse with her trolley stacked with board games. Thought it was a bit funny when they weren't on special or anything… 😁
Any worthy games though
Not to be the sad sack.
But Hasbro make exactly 0 good games.
thats why they are called has-bro, not is-bro
hahahahaha
i will walk myself outI quite like playing a number of Hasbro games with my young nephews and nieces like guess who, connect 4 and battleship, games I also played a long time ago when I was young. Maybe it's just a nostalgia thing.
I also really like Monopoly deal. Great for camping, hiking and travelling.
I think this is good value for buying games to give to younger relatives (or your kids if they are young), but ONLY if you would occasionally buy something like the McDonald's Share Meal.
We do this once in a while when things change at the last minute and dinner plans have to change, although McDonald's would not normally be my first choice - other family members would feel differently I'm sure!
In fact, I might be wrong, but I think the last time that I personally had anything from McDonald's was after we got the voucher from Hasbro last year, although we might not have used it for a while after getting it.
Alan.
Sad sack ⤴️
Anyone received their voucher or a notification regarding it?
Hi, I received a voucher in the mail yesterday, had not received any confirmation before then. Online purchase and filled.in online form fyi.
Don't trust that you will get your voucher when purchasing online.
Their form flow never worked last year and I ended up having to contact hasbro support and getting mine mailed manually because they never heard of me.
I even contacted The Warehouse support and they said it was fine and would be done automatically.
