1TB Seagate Storage Expansion Card for Xbox Series X/S $315 (Was $398) @ Mighty Ape

50

Cheapest ever price in NZ so far according to PriceSpy. Shipping from $4.50 within NZ. I'd guess the price is probably going to drop further over the course of the year but if you're in desperate need of the extra storage right now and don't want to use a slower external drive then this appears to be the best deal around at the moment.

  • Anybody have insider info on when the next shipment of Series X is arriving? I've been refreshing sites everyday… nothing…

    • I see Noel Leeming has it available for purchase, but I'm guessing it's a backorder?

      • Ahhh I had been checking there they must have got some today but already gone

  • Pity can't price match been waiting for a price drop

I think an external SSD is the way to go until the price of these drops down to something a bit more realistic. Use the SSD to store your single player games and games you don't play every day and transfer them over when you feel like playing them, Cyberpunk takes just 2 and a half minutes to copy from an external SSD to the internal drive on the series X, that's nothing, I've had loading screens on consoles longer than that. Copy the games over as you need them then delete them off the internal when done and copy them back when you want to play them again. Easy. Unless you play half a dozen different games every day I really don't see the need for shelling out $300+ for the official expansion card.

Who was the idiot who posted this "deal" anyway?

  • This sounds like a horrible price sor what is basically a 1tb ssd. HATE proprietary bullshit companies come up with.
