Just came across an article talking about how Lincoln University are offering free courses for domestic students.

This includes taught master's degrees in areas such as agricultural systems, food innovation, pest management, accounting, and sport and recreation management, as well as graduate and postgraduate certificates and diplomas in applied science, environmental management and commerce (and many more), all offered from Semester two in July.

The fee waiver will appeal to current students looking to grow their skills and become even more employable, but also for people who may be looking for a new career, or have had a job loss. They range from one semester long to three, and include online options.

    • I go to Lincoln as a mature student and study in-person but all of my courses I can also just do online. Most test/exams are online and most correspondence with teachers is done via email even if you attended. I have found its pretty easy to do most things online via learn and zoom calls. They record big lectures and post to learn with any corresponding notes but also if its a small class that isn't recorded they tend to make a recording that just goes over what was said in class (these are often better to understand than being in the class). They also offer extra help for mature students (you can find this on the library website)
