There's a Trade Me seller located in Otago claiming to have sold over 60 with The Warehouse the source.
@Peter Wyngarde: I know someone has made 30K+ net profit by selling PS5 since November 2020. They operate multiple accounts on Trademe.
@baikal: I took a closer look at the Otago seller and calculate the profit per unit is approximately $250 so there's $15,000.
It really seems as though the stock is actually keeping up with demand since this post has been up for 4 hours with stock still available, glad to see the scalpers consoles will plummet in demand & price

@OG Slime Rat: It's difficult to say for sure. In the past after the initial stock sold out in minutes not hours there would be small quantities available over the following hours. First theory was the stock was being dripfed. Second theory was the stock was from cancelled orders.

Good idea, but trademe may not like it as obviously trademe take a big cut of the profits
This wasn't my idea I saw a seller doing this while there was stock of Xbox Series X last shipment. I can't tell you how long they kept it up. I checked the listing a few times over several days and they were getting thank yous from several buyers.
All gone now it seems. Hopefully lots of cheapies finally got one for a reasonable price

Wow! That must be significantly more than past shipments. I must have been on The Market very close to when the stock went live in April and there was 220 odd.
Along with the earlier Noel Leeming post, I think (touch wood) we've finally come to a place where quantity is meeting demand (goodbye to the scalpers!)
Hopefully today will be one of the last days that these have to be up on Cheapies as a "deal".
