Yeah they go for $6.99 now, but for tomorrow only you get bonus large fries.
It was originally 10 wings for $5 in a few times June 2019 then they had one 20 for $10 on Friday chicken day, then went to 8 for $5 in July 2019 then went up to $6 (for 8) in late 2020, then went up to $7 (for 8) only this month I believe (although last time they had the $6 deal was in February).
I wish they'd do a tender deal again. AFAIK, they haven't since 2019? They have had some bite ones but didn't see any either in Cheapies history or Facebook so don't think I missed anything.
Wish they opened in Christchurch
I feel the pain. Just moved from Hamilton to Christchurch and miss Texas Chicken already! (But that's also one of the only things I miss haha).

They had 2 branches in Rotorua. Now they are both closed. What a bummer
I never understood why they did. The basic chicken tasted bland, but the spicy ones was stupidly good value for money.

I miss the 8 wings for for 5 dollars =(. Still good deal though!
