  True. They only use this car for city commute only in China.
  
  Alternatively, I am expecting BYD to come to NZ. The news said it has already established an AU/NZ company and imported a trial batch in Sydney. Being a company invested by Buffett, cooperated with Toyota, and had a long history manufacturing batteries for all leading brands, I would trust their build quality.
  
  Plus their blade battery looks awesome, I would definitely buy one if available.
