Cheers but I'm on a pretty low budget and that's a bit beyond it. I'm not much of a computer gamer, just want something better than the 1060 under $550
I bought a few things off them when I lived there - they were fine. Its not a busy shop and no idea how they are online but I had no problem with anything.
Also I'm sure Mightyape had 1660's available a few days ago…. might be worth looking around.
Yep sure have. They've been around for a long time (must be approaching 20 years) with a shop in Royal Oak, Auckland. Nothing to rave about but they're fine.
+1 for this. Around for ages. I used to go into Royal Oak Mall occasionally for small stuff from them. No issues with anything I purchased.
Thanks for the replies. Maybe it's best if I explain my situation. 1060 is playing up and looking to upgrade. But want something under $550. Something better than the 1060 that can last a few more years. 1050 ti & 1650 look like different versions of a 1060. So 1070 or 1660 seems to be the best way to go. Any recommendations on what I should do? $525 seems like a good price considering the current climate.
I used to use them pre PB Tech days at the Stoddard Rd branch, was always pretty happy. The fact that they're still up and running must mean they're doing something right
If you can stretch, i got a 2nd hand RTX 2060 Super for $650, 2nd hand might be the way to go.
