Need to get one of the kids a new phone, looking for something under $300 since they like to lose them/break them rather often.
Any thoughts on the best phone under $300 ?
Depends on their ages as to how fancy a phone they need also whether you want local warranty or are happy to buy from overseas.
if its "they like to lose them/break them rather often." then its cheaper to get them from ali express or stick to budget lines like the Redmi series of phones.

Wait for a PB Special it usually puts it at the same price as Aliexpress with GST im super impressed with the specs on the current chinese phones but even the Samsung's are a decent value

Got this exact phone and headphones three months ago. No idea how to get the earbuds working. Only one of the earbuds will sync at a time.
i always liked the moto series (2 to 8), but one big issue is their noise cancellation, its too strict and they cant hear my voice, my solution was to unlock the bootloader but cant with warranty.
Also the G10 is $10 less and newer from pbtech, similar specs but slower SOC, both devices dont have a compass so it wont know which direction you are in.
