Thanks. Do you know how the referrer gets $40 as website states $20?
No idea sorry.
Just a word of caution, PIA was recently acquired by a company who promotes malware. Look it up online.

Also, people have had a lot of bad experiences with ShopBack not paying out correctly.
I've read the same sadly - Mullvad seems to be getting good reviews as an alternative - has anyone used this?
I've used Mullvad for a year and it is really good, I highly recommend it especially how easy it is to generate an account without needing your personal details
@BananaMeadow: May I ask what payment method you use and whether you pay monthly? Also, do they offer fast servers or locations for this side of the world? Cheers
@L3tstaxth1s: I just use my credit card and servers are quite fast and reliable. I just pay as I go when i need it rather than re-occuring. Though as not much server selection like NordVPN do for example, it's definitely worth the $8nzd to try it out for a month to see if you like it
Well, if you've got nothing to hide then how does it matter? How can they be dodgy? What if you use it only to unblock streaming content?
It depends on how you use them, like if you install there app to connect to VPN or use openvpn(this should be fine).
Their app can have malware.
Anything with 100% cashback depends on denied payouts for some (or a lot) of people.
I concur - I would at least wait to see what the online consensus view is over the next few months.
Thanks, I just bought the three year subscription.
Does anyone know how to withdraw ShopBack credit? I presume they only allow AU bank accounts?
Paypal
Thank you, got my 3 years subscription, just wondering what is the fee for withdrawing via Paypal.
Paypal charges NZ$1.00 for amounts below NZ$150 plus you will have to convert from AUD to NZD at whatever exchange rate PayPal offers which is usually not great.
I have never found a particular need to withdraw from PayPal - just spend it in place of cash from your NZD account / credit card.
Many places accept PayPal payments.
Alan.
true, but Paypal does the conversion from AUD to NZD when you spend it in NZD, and their conversion rate is worst.
Not worse than converting to NZD for a payout?
Regardless, many websites allow you to change the currency you are purchasing in, so if you have excess USD, AUD, GBP, EUR or whatever, choose to pay in that currency, and you won't get hit with a crappy forex rate at all. Especially true for most VPN providers, and you'll often find that their price is very close in all the currencies.
I switched from express to Nord vpn just recently due the kape technologies buy out. Got refund on the express subscription since it was within 30 days. Nord seems to work fine
