HP 915 Ink Cartridge (Various Colours) $13.49 @ Pbtech (Save 18%)

40

Im usually not one to post boring old ink deals, but no doubt some of you are like me and have an HP printer from several previous cashback promotions - these are very rarely on a decent special.

This in particular is for the 915 (standard 315 pages) colour inks - Magenta, Cyan Yellow which at $13.49/unit is pretty decent.
Black is also on special for $22

  • You can get better cost per page with the XL Cartridges that yield 825 pages as opposed to the 315 pages in the standard size.
If you pricematch this with Warehouse Stationery it will come out even cheaper.

PBTech prices for Magenta $28.50 (comes down to $25.65 pricematched)
Cyan & Yellow $32.69 (comes down to $29.42) and Black $57.50 (down to $51.75)

You can do this via the Warehouse Stationery online chat and delivery is free over $46 which you will spend with either black or a couple of colour cartridges.

    • Didn’t know WH stationary price matched online, thanks for the heads up!

      • Were you able to get a price match? They told me all HP ink is shipped direct form supplier so isn't eligible…

        • I didnt bother. The total saving by doing so was going to be about $1.35/cartridge for what I needed. The cart was already loaded at PB, and the time to go through the hit and miss with thewarehouse customer service just wasnt worth it to me.
But that "HP ink shipped from supplier" sounds like a bit of BS from their end tbh.

          • @Elvino: Yeah they ended the chat straight away as well so I couldn't even question it…
I'm buying a fair bit for the home office so gave it a few tries but no luck. Still a good deal though.

  • I got over buying HP ink all the time and ended up switching over to a HP instant ink plan. They send cartridges that last ages (go figure) and instead of paying for ink, you pay for the amount of pages printed per month. Think I pay $10ish for 100 pages a month (& any unused amount rolls over to the next month). Partner and I both work and study so we go through quite a bit. I think it's cheaper for us but I could be wrong. Think there's a referral system too where the referrer gets 1 month free and the new signup gets 1 or 2 free months. Current printer is the OfficeJet 8010.

If budget wasn't an issue I'd just buy one of those Epson ecotank printers.

Thanks Wakrak - I didnt even know this existed. Worth looking into (once the ones Ive just ordered run out). Ill ping you then and get your referral code.
