That's of you get no double ups.

      • From FAQ:

The Countdown Bricks packs are handed out at random and are in an opaque paper pack so our team don’t know what’s inside the packs either!

That's a big nope from me.

Countdown Bricks are made by UNGA. Exclusive to Countdown.

Oh wow, getting the United Nations to chip in here is huge. Well done, Countdown.

The irony of building an environmentally friendly supermarket using small pieces of plastic

    • exactly what I was going to say! and to continue to targeting children with promotions like this.

    • +2

Apparently they're made from 80% recycled plastic so not as terrible.

I hope they have some good bonus pack promotions. I had seen people in Oz getting heaps of packs for not much spend.

    • that is wws. Its children countdown is stingy

    • Bonus pack, as in a Karen or antimasker figurine for those harassing security guard or other shopper roleplays? Yeah I would get those.

If it's 80 percent recycled plastic (which doesn't translate to 80 percent less worser for environment), and you get random packs only… so say in totality you've got 20 percent 'bad plastic' + 80 percent recycled plastic normalised at say, 10 percent (conservative, run-best scenario). You've got the bricks being 30 percent bad for environment compared to regular lego.

-30 percent 'emissions', with random packs (I.e. some packs are useless… perhaps not, as I guess it's still bricks to build stuff in general which kids like)
It's about as bad for the environment as anything, and also totally unnecessary, seems like a scam on the mother earth, and I'm not even a super fanatical environmental type.

-You've also got the advertising to kids questionable ethics as was mentioned above.
    -$30 x 40 = $1200 for the whole collection. as mentioned above.

UNGA = https://un.ga/about-us/ , They give off the kind of not-for-profit or charity vibe, but they are a completely normal company.

Thumbs down from me I guess.
