Probably was a clearance price long sold out yeah, Go pro 7 is pretty good, removable front lens if it gets scratched, unlike the newer gro pros.
Yeah but warranty coverage is going to be pretty much nil, compared to what you get under CGA here.
CGA, ha, if you're prepared to fight tooth and nail for it.
Bosch didn't even mention that I have any rights under the CGA in the email they sent to me last week (broken dishwasher). It was just a 5 years ago I was on the phone to Fisher and Paykel and they said the CGA didn't apply to them.
I took spark to disputes tribunal when they said iphones only had 2 year warranties and that this was decided by Spark lawyers. Won that case too, quite good, I beat the lawyers from the countries largest telco. Not that they care, it is just a ruse they play to deter most people.
Have had to fight apple and lenovo too. Lenovo don't really have a strong presence here, so they were difficult. Apple a sly, make it like they are doing you a favour .
Noel Leeming refused to replace a broken blender part, maybe 2 years ago. They ended up conceding, got another part, that broke too. It is a design fault in the part.
The Disputes Tribunal isn't like a formal court. You usually represent yourself in a hearing - a lawyer can’t represent you, and there are no judges.
I got mine local on sale for $300 but i see they shot up in price now.
Good price I guess, don't know much about gopro, pricespy shows the 7 was $315 in July, silver seems to often go to $300, obviously no extra battery though.
