  • Lol at the gif of the lady dancing on the website

  • Do some research online about your sleep patterns, i got a medium/firm mattress but found out side sleepers and face down need softer bed to support the shoulders and hips. Otherwise you may wake up with sore shoulders.

  • does winkl have deals like that from time to time?

    • +1

Yes - not sure about 25%, but I got ours (Winkl) at 20% off

  • I think they've increased their prices slightly. Queen price used to be around $1150 before discount

    • True, I bought queen for $1150 before discount 6 months before.

  • How does it compare to the containerdoor mattress for $399?

  • These are very good mattresses, we have two and one of their pillows. Has made a huge difference for my back and neck.

How are there pillows? Are they worth the price? any idea how they compare to foam pillows from Briscoes or similar retailers which goes for around $50-$70?

  • returned mine cos it was too soft (there's 3 foam layers you can switch around on an ecosa).
foam mattress will never be as firm as a coil one but great if you like soft mattresses.

    • True, foam mattress can't be compared with coil one. Still ecosa is one of the firmer foam mattress out there. Good coil mattress is almost double or triple the value compared to this, so might be a deciding factor for some.

Anyone purchased a Peacelily one? Made from natural Latex rather than foam. Wondering how they compare apart form price.

  • How is it compared to other beds(Winkl, BedRus etc.)? I need to buy a few mattresses, but I have no idea their quality and value for money. Many thanks in advance.

Best part of mattress like this is 100 days trial. You can easily return it without any questions asked. Return process is simple as well. No harm ordering one and trying it out. Make sure you try it for atleast a month before deciding it to return as it takes a while to adjust to foam mattress if you have never used it. Also, this are shrink wrap, so might take couple of days for them to regain the structure and lose that smell.

Fyi: After opening, I kept it in spare room for few days to lose that smell and regain the original structure before using it.

      My opinion:
      Winkl is softer than Ecosa
Any coil mattress from Bedrus will be harder than foam mattresses like Ecosa, winkl, emma.

We like Ecosa with their highest level of firmness. Decided to buy another as it is cheaper than good quality coil mattress and I think we love form mattress better than coil. Have been using Ecosa since 6 months now. Previously had coil one.

      • Thank you so much. It really helped my decision.

  • We bought one a month ago and after 3 weeks couldn’t take the firmness anymore so put my old coil mattress back. Spoke to Ecosa and they sent us a foam topper but even with that it’s still too firm. Will be sending it back which is a pity because it’s a good price and build quality seems good

    • Did you try switching the layers?

Fyi: Emma or Winkl is softer than Ecosa

      • The default setup is for softest. Well at least I was sure it was, now I’m going to have to double check

        • You may be right, not sure though.

  • With the trial returns what happens to them?

Do they onsell them at a discounted rate?

    • +1

I think they are donated. I read that somewhere.

Edit : The Salvation Army will come to collect your mattress.

      • Correct, the Salvation Army then sells them for around $600

  • How do these compare with Tempur matresses? Thinking of getting a Tempur on finance but these also memory foam but cheaper

  • Haven't used tempur so can't comment on it. But have tried Emma and felt soft for our need. Bought Ecosa and using it for 6 months now on highest firmness and like it. Just bought another to replace coil one in guest room, yesterday.

The 25% has expired now. Emma is having a sale currently. Both Emma & Ecosa have 100 days trial, so no harm getting the cheapest and trying it, else just return it and get another. Returns are easy and no questions asked.
