  I paid full price at launch and don't regret it, this is a great game and a steal at this price. Personally I would avoid all reviews because of potential spoilers and just play the game, I loved the story and how much it got me invested in the characters, and how the story used this love of the characters to drive the story.

      plot doesn't make much sense, 1st last of us was a lot better, people didn't like playing as a certain character for obvious reasons
