  • When do we reckon we might get a free selling day? How often do those come around?

    • +5

From this year alone in my emails (may have deleted some but unlikely), I found the following free selling days - some with $1 reserve condition, others without it:

      February 13th - General items
February 27th - Business, Farming, Industry items
      March 13th - TradeMe Birthday
      April 3rd - Electronics & Photography
      May 8th - General items
      June 19th - General items
      July 10th - Antiques & Collectibles
      October 23rd - Jewellery & Watches

This time last year they did free selling as a Black Friday promo… Hard to predict the next one but at a guess - maybe after Xmas to encourage listing unwanted gifts.

      • Ah yeah, it's the general items one I'm after. You're probably right, post Christmas would make sense!

  • That last condition might be important: This offer is non transferable.
I haven't received the email, nor can I find it advertised/listed on their site as a promotion. Can we look at getting this tagged as targeted until it is officially communicated somewhere?

  • Wish I waited a couple days listing an item, would have saved me $60 on success fees when I sold something yesterday.

    • Yea they do this, when i saw it changed the listing and price and will relist. On Saturday.
