Better off getting the 3070 upgrade as that's equivalent to 3060/3060ti desktop (I think)

    • Agreed. I ordered that model using the last deal and despite the possible 7 week delivery time it's apparently on the way already.

I'd update your post and have both prices/gpu up in title makes it easier for ppl to know

          Done

  • Although I've now switched to a desktop I can't recommend the Legion 5 enough, best gaming laptop @ the price I paid $2099. Just keep in mind you'll need to spend a few more pennies on a 2nd SSD.

Also get better ram and sell off the old ones as Jarrodtech points out

Also, I ordered one a few weeks ago that is currently with DHL

When your order is sent to DHL, confirm that Lenovo entered the correct address
Mine showed as correct on the invoice but the DHL address was changed to AUCKLAND so i had to call DHL

    • Mine says Christchurch on the invoice when I am in Auckland…should I be worried?

      • +1

Id just wait and confirm the address on the email you receive from DHL since they allow you to easily redirect.

I saw another post where the person also had their package say Auckland when they elsewhere so it may just default auckland anyway

For me I received two emails "Your lenovo shipping confirmation" - This was correct
"DHL on demand delivery" - This was incorrect

      • Hey mate, just curious about how your order delivery is going? I just got off the phone with Lenovo and DHL as mine's been sitting in HK for a week.

Latest I have from Lenovo is 'expected to ship' December 11 and 'expected to arrive' December 22.

@JamesJW: Just wanted to share that I had to call DHL to get my correct address updated with them. They had mine going to my correct street address, but in Auckland and not the city I live in.. Probably worth giving DHL a call to make sure they've got it right before it ends up literally going round the houses.

            • @Aerol: Cheers when did you call DHL? I haven't received an email from them yet so must still be before it's shipped. Although they've put a charge on my card so maybe it;s close to leaving their end?

              • @JamesJW: I think they put some kind of hold charge on first and then when it ships it gets confirmed. I saw my tracking update to Auckland yesterday so I gave DHL a call just to be sure they knew where it was meant to go. Glad I did :)

@Aerol: Pretty happy with how it's been moving along. Now arrived in Auckland and expected to arrive Monday, well ahead of schedule. Love DHL

                  • @JamesJW: Fingers crossed! Mine spent 10 days touring various DHL facilities before finally showing up šŸ˜‚

                    • +1

@Aerol: I am experiencing the tour now haha been to a few facilities. I keep getting teased by texts it's 'out for delivery' but will be patient.

                    • @Aerol: Hi mate, how long it took from place order to receive? thank you.

                      • @jessexb: Took exactly a month. Could've been less if DHL had got their shit together but much quicker than the 'up to 8 weeks' thing Lenovo's website said at the time.

                        • @Aerol: thank you, one month is much better then 8weeks, will place my order if it is on special on Boxing day.
