Guess it's my turn to post the paywall bypass extension 😄
    https://github.com/iamadamdev/bypass-paywalls-chrome

    • Yep - I use that on the laptop but can’t use on the iPhone (unless you know a workaround for that?)

Never thought about getting it for iPhone. ios.gadgethacks has something but I'm unable to test it on my work phone.

        • Thanks I’ll have a look at it

          • @bigcheese: I just tried and couldn’t get it working. I think this shortcut works for websites that hide the full article under a popover.

Thank you mate, this made my day! Not only does it bypass NZ Herald but every other major news site in the world including Economist, WSJ, NY Times! I've tried using extensions to bypass NZ Herald in the past from NZ reddit but none have ever lasted and people seemed to have just given up.

Plus this is super easy to install, simple drag and drop.

Thanks again and Happy Friday. 👍🏼

Even tho it's a free four weeks, I'd still ask my money back :)

For me, the quality is not there. Sometimes reading NZ Herald felt like reading those tabloid newspapers from the UK. Stuff reporting is far more superior. I would think that they would have to pay me to get me to read their paper.

I would never pay for it either.
Not sure I would say Stuff reporting is much better though. The standard of their spelling and grammar (even in headlines) is terrible. The rush to be the first with the latest news seems to be at the expense of journalistic quality.
