Amazon AU 12% Cashback on All Categories (Capped at AU$25 per Member, 11am-1pm AEDT 24/12) @ Cashrewards

100

C&P from OzBargain

A hot 2-hour deal for our members with 12% cashback on every Amazon AU category, capped in total at $25 per member. Please read the terms & tips below carefully as it will save a lot of questions. Valid from 11:00am 24/12/21 to 1:00pm 24/12/21 (AEDT).

  • During the 2 hour promotional period, 12% cashback for Amazon Australia is capped at $25 in total per member account, irrespective of the number of transactions made. Valid 11:00am to 1:00pm 24/12/21 (AEDT).
  • Purchases paid with gift cards are eligible for cashback.
  • Purchases paid with any Amazon promotional credit as partial or full payment are ineligible for cashback.
    - Cashback is ineligible on purchase of vouchers, gift cards, kindle unlimited, audible, mobile apps, recurring subscribe & save items (first order only is eligible), Amazon Prime subscriptions & renewals. Cashback is also ineligible on use of any codes entered manually in Amazon's 'Promotion Code' field.
  • Pre-orders are eligible for cashback only if the item is scheduled to be shipped within 60 days of purchase.
  • Purchases from Amazon US/UK are eligible for cashback provided the transaction is made via Amazon AU.
    - Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn cashback. Items must only be added to cart after clicking from Cashrewards.
  • You must return and click through from Cashrewards to Amazon every time you make a new transaction/purchase. Click and subsequent purchase must be completed inside the 2-hour window. Amazon tracking typically takes 1-3 days to report into accounts.
    - For tracking success, ensure you disable 3rd party plugins (AdBlock, uBlock, Pi-hole, Honey, etc) and VPNs, close any additional browser tabs, and don't click away to other sites looking for codes etc after clicking from Cashrewards as tracking will be lost (3x Camels is a tracking killer). Try our improved iOS/Android mobile app for great tracking results.

If you're confused about any aspect of this deal or want to ask a question about it, I recommend leaving a comment over on the OzBargain post.

  • Right on time. I have my cart ready, was waiting for something like this to pop-up.

Very small window to buy though. Gotta set alarm.

Edit: I need to add items to the cart after following the cashback link.

I'll put some of the more important things to note in bold. Quite a bit to read there.

Time to buy gift card to get additional 1% cashback.

It will be 9am-11am NZ time, in case anyone is wondering.

    • +2

Isn't it the other way? 1-3PM NZT?

      • +1

Yes. Don't know what i was thinking

          Benjamin Button. Going backwards 👴👶

  • Can't sign up need valid Aussie Visa or Mastercard, any way around this

    • I've never signed up for Cash Rewards but never heard of this before in previous discussions. Are you sure you aren't making a mistake during signup? I see from their T&C:

      In-Store Offers and Cashrewards Max
Cashrewards offers services enabling you to enrol eligible payment cards in order to earn rewards or benefits when you make qualifying transactions at participating merchants using that payment card (In-Store Offer and Cashrewards Max Services).

To receive benefits and rewards through the In-Store Offer and Cashrewards Max Services, you must enrol a valid, eligible card. As a condition of using the In-Store Offer

So if you try to sign up for Cashrewards Max or their in store offer option then yes you'll need to enter a card. However it doesn't seem this promotion requires Max, so there's no reason to sign up to Max and in store offers are irrelevant in NZ I assume. Going by previous discussions, you'll either need Paypal or an AU bank account to transfer your cash back so you can use it though.

  • Awesome just found the Paypal link, sort tomorrow.

    Thank for the help

  • I still haven’t got my cashback from them. Trouble with linking paypal account.

    • Have you asked the rep over at OzBargain about it? Might be able to help you.

  • Anyone have issues signing up? Putting in nz Number to verify and it says verification code will be sent and then just hangs there.

    • I recommend asking over at OzBargain. The store rep is usually pretty quick to respond.

  • From Cashrewards Rep

In all honesty, I'm not sure about Amazon cashback for NZ and it hadn't even crossed my mind to ask them. However, if it shows this amount as promotional credit, then you're out of luck unfortunately, per the terms. Sorry :(

    • oof. I'm guessing that means no for us? The mower I posted came up as promotional credit.

      • Looks like it. We are left dry out during christmas lol.

        • Your battery deal doesn't come up as promotional credit though. Varies.

          • @Wakrak: Free shipping above $59 gets promotional credit during checkout

            • @ace310: oof. Another thing with your deal, can get extra 10% off through subscribe and save.

              • +1

@Wakrak: Yup. But that 12% cashback is the let down.

I need few items anyway, so will give it a go if I can get the cashback.

  • Going to expire this deal. Might still be applicable for items under $59 but there are too many variables to consider, making this deal the opposite of straightforward.

  • +1

I ordered it anyway. Few items I needed are the lowest I have seen and need them. If I get the cashback, it will be a bonus

Someone on oz mentioned below, so maybe free shipping might not be big deal.

It's fine, for AU buyers free shipping for $39 spend, and it shows up as promotional credit as well.

Just got a bunch of Cashback tracked emails from our order.

    • Yep same here

    • Good to hear

  • Yup. my order got tracked as well. Still few items pending, but got all major ones tracked so happy I bite the bullet.
