  • Is this poe capable? If so, how many watts does it draw?

It says “recommended” to use a dedicated 12V adapter. Does it come with one?

  • Saw this at the bottom:
"NOTE: The wired camera is only compatible with DVRs, and can not be integrated with network recorders."

Couldn't see anywhere on there to say it's a wireless camera so it looks like you'll need to have an existing DVR for this camera to connect into…?

    • This is definitely a wired camera. Had one of their cheap wireless ones before and it turned out it had the same "only compatible with DVRs" limitation - you can use it with their phone app or their own DVRs, but you can't connect with a browser and it can not be used as an IP camera.
This made it pretty much useless for me as there was no way to integrate it with Home Assistant.

  • +2

Be aware of this company, I have ordered from them before, they claim they didnt have the model I requested 'in stock' so just sent a different one without asking, obviously being from overseas, a return is difficult.

Note: The website continued to show the item as 'In stock' the entire time so I think they just sent me a 'cheaper' model since I had used a coupon code I found here on cheapies

  • Another problem with Annke is they will ask for your login details, if you want them to help you with any troubleshooting.
I just flashed my Annke camera with HikVision firmware.
