  • hopefully not targeted.

    • It's definitely not targeted, I saw it on you tube.

        • Thanks, time to end my listings early for the big day.

          • @coffeee: I thought you ended up paying some kind of fee for removing the listing? Is that not the case?

            • +1

@Billyspleen75: Not if you bring the end date of the listing forward. Have them finish today/tomorrow then relist again tomorrow.

            • +1

@Billyspleen75: change the end date, remove photos and description will deter people from bidding.

              • +1

@coffeee: Or just hike the price to something silly

            • +2

@Billyspleen75: You can edit the listing to finished in the past currently. It's probably a bug, but if I want to pull a listing i've done it multiple times, kills the auction instantly.

          That's the one. Cheers

Sweet, put my car up on Facebook as trademe fees are horrendus, but this makes to not too bad.

    • You selling a Ferrari?

Sold my car for sub $100 same day it was listed. Happy to pay that over dealing with automated messages from basically bots.

Typical…right as I sell something, a half off comes up a couple of days later…

Withdraw your listings and restart them on Saturday… Unless you already have bids 😬😬😬

    • Make your listings end on Saturday 1am or something and auto renew with a 7 day duration.

Then on Saturday change the time to something like 3-7pm for a more reasonable time to end auction

Changing the date/time has never really cost and easy way to get out of withdrawal fees if you don't have bids

      • It costs 25c to change the time and date?

        • I've done it often and it doesn't charge, when fees do come up I cancel and and try again changing the day and then do it again changing the time. never paid 25c for it.

    Obligatory shoutout to http://www.tardme.co.nz/

  • Maybe put up your cars here too with model, price and location. Cheapies charge no fee :)

  • Does anyone know if there's likely to be a free selling on cars anytime soon?. I'd rather wait for that

    • It's really hard to predict as these deals don't seem to follow any pattern. The last free selling day looked to have been in June

  • Interesting still so many people using TM

Despite the fees it’s still a great site for buying and selling goods.
