Philips TAR8805 Internet Radio $76.44 Delivered @ PB Tech

FREESHIPWHOLESALE2201

If you like internet and you like radio, well you are in for a treat, how about internet radio!
This little beauty normally sells for $399 elsewhere but today its only $76.44 (maybe slighty cheaper if you use another pricing level).
I'm on the fence with this one but thought someone might be interested.
Lowest price ever been by a long shot, could be price mistake, the item page shows MPN: TAR8805 so dont think it could be anything else.
15 in stock apparently.
here is a link to the Philips site for more details.

A Philips engineer stumbled upon this clip and decided there may be something in it:

  • What's the advantage of this versus something like a Nest Hub that was the same price not long ago? I assume sound quality and not much else?

    • I rate the Philips website reviews.

The sound quality is quite dreadful compared to a Philips 'all transistor' radio bought in 1964, which sounds better & still works!

  • No dab/dab+ in nz

so you'll have to go via tune in or some other services i guess just like nest hub

16 of em off the shelf. Might see em popup on Facebook Marketplace like many other Cheapie deals.

  • NO SHOT I missed out on this! I've had this on my wish list on Mightyape since forever…the one night I decide to be productive and not come on here (plus it has been pretty quiet with deals today)

What's the occasion for this drastic mark down? Did anyone here actually successfully order this? (just checking it's not one of those mispricing and you get refunded later)

Got mine refunded because they couldn’t locate stock apparently which is a shame

      • I appreciate the update. Looks like product page is now completely gone too!
