We are moving houses next week and need to hire a moving van. Just the van, not movers. Any recommendations?
So far I found cityhop to be the most convenient, coming to $120 for a day 150kms incl, no fuel refill and excess of $1000
Any other recommendations or deals?
Auckland vehicle rentals - van - $105 but one needs to fill fuel tank on return, Kms capped at 100km/24hrs and they have vehicle insurance included in the price. Better rates than hire ace as they have additional charges per Kms (My friend had borrowed 2 TONNE BOX BODY 10 CUBIC METRES - Furniture truck - Auckland Vehicle Rental)
I'm in East Auckland and have used Eastern Rentals a few times. No complaints.
Cross country rentals was cheapest when a checked last year in Wellington, I was after only a half day hire though.
Most other places would only do full days.
