  • Some good deals, bought the S2722QC.

    • What was the estimated delivery time once you put the order through?

Do you know if the specifications of the USB-C cable provided and whether it support video throughput or is it just another USB-C charging cable to add to my growing collection?

      • +1

I just ordered the same monitor. Estimated delivery date is by 14-March. Provided USB-C cable is display, audio and power.

        • Thanks!

  • Are there any codes that help to reduce the price even further? eg lovekeanu, kong7, daisy

with a student email you can get a better price.

    • with a student email address, you can get an additional 7% off. I purchased Dell S2722QC and paid $487.60

      • what's your estimated delivery date?

        • The shipping date is 8th March and Delivery is 14th. The current status is in Production.

          • @sarmadsoomro: thanks. Same dates for me too

            • @hummerh40: @abhi1638 Have you heard anything from Dell? Mine is shipped and collected by the courier today. Hopefully will receive it by Monday.

              • @sarmadsoomro: mine too! Should be delivered by tomorrow. Says it was collected in South Auckland and I'm in the central area

  • For the most part these are standard sale prices from Dell. Do a quick search on Cheapies.

  • The 4K one, S2722QC was introduced by the end of 2021, is a good deal.

    • Do you think 4k would be ok on 27inch? I have 2K 27inch, it is small in size and I have to scale up 125% if you want to read comfortably

      • its hardly readable at no scaling. if you have a mac and do anything computationally intensive id recommend sticking with 2k. macs with custom scaling have horrendous performance.

  • Picked up the S3221QS for $547.46 this time last year so not much of a deal on that one. It also got cheaper a couple of times after I bought it. Good monitor though.

  • Any reviews/feedback on this monitor? S3422DWG.
There appears to be quite a few 144hz 34” monitors around this price range of $700ish. Quite hard to differentiate and decide lol

  • +1

I have the S2721DS, which I got at a much cheaper price from a previous deal here:
    https://www.cheapies.nz/node/27609

It's an OK monitor. My old ASUS VE278Q released in 2011 actually has a much better colour accuracy and looks way nicer. The only good thing about the Dell is that it has thin bezels. Other than that, it's OK for standard office use.

  • The 32" monitor is a VA panel. Was hoping for an IPS

  • Man awesome price on the S2722DC. For a USB C 4K monitor that is a great price. Will make for a clean setup as only one cable to power (65W) the laptop as well.

I almost purchased this at full price but instead picked up the LG27UP600.

I’d say the Dell would be better.

    • +1

I have a similar LG model but eventually get four corner turned red/purple, it is a pretty common issue for LG 4k panel. Unfortunatelyit was out of warranty. Hope Dell IPS models don't have the same fate.

      • Oh didn’t hear about that issue.

Hopefully that doesn’t happen to mine!

  • lol someone is trying to sell a used S3221QS for $650 + delivery on Geekzone. And a brand new S2721QS for $500 ($326 new from Dell at one point last year).

  • Prices have further been reduced. You can ask Dell to refund the difference as per their 30 days price match gurantee.
