  You can always just take your own photo for free.
  The online passport photo checker will tell you if it meets requirements before submitting.
  I've used it a few times - works well.

        I renewed mine recently.
        Don't expect to be travelling any time soon but didn't want to be rushing around trying to update my passport when the time comes.
        With the passport good for 10 years, I would rather do it now and not worry about it.

  Ahh…used to print them @WHS, 19c for 8 photos, ages ago though…haha
