Well, I am using projector to watch shows on the wall when using a rowing machine, I bought the V10 from last post but only used once to test it if is working then went back to use my old Projector Mod on my retired Moto Z2, just because it is much more convenient and has auto keystone correction. The native resolution on the V10 definitely not 720p(1024*600 from official description), not much better than the Projector Mod(480p), brighter but not much useful to me since I am using it in a dark room. Consider it is maybe 20 or 30 times size than the Projector Mod(phone size compare to a normal projector size), lack of the auto keystone correction, it feels like a obsolete toy. At least it works as it suppose to.

Since it is made and shipped from China, I did a search on Taobao, this kind of projector is all over the place from all kinds of manufacturers that all using the same design. So for this V50, it will be more sensible to buy the one with Android built-in from other manufacturers with about same price, might need sometime to show up on Aliexpress though.

    • Yes true thats why i asked them for a 1080p version this time .. Also China cheap projector Android versions are more expensive and use terrible old versions (like 6.0). V50 has vertical keystone at least and you use your phone OS which is usually modern

I honestly wouldn't bother getting an OS built in to these cheap things. I haven't used one but other android boxes that cost $100 aren't exactly great and they o my do one thing. I'm very sceptical that the ones built in will be an old version, slow and buggy and never get updated. Save the upgrade money and add a Chromecast instead, pretty sure you'll have a nicer time that way.

I'm always tempted by these as I don't know how much I'd actually use a projector in my house to spend a lot on one. Really not expecting them to be the best things out there at the price, but as long as the image is half way decent and it works in dark environments it would be good enough as something to tinker with and try out. Theres a lot of them to choose from though.

  • These guys back their products I've had really good experiences with their after sales service, and they are reporting their ANSI lumens (NOT BS lumens LOL)

    • 15000 lumens will be absolute BS. Most of these are around 300 ANSI lumens. Even projectors worth significantly more than this don't hit that. Xiaomis laser projectors that are $2000 are only 5000 lumens. Any projector even claiming that level of light is most likely lying unless it's very high end equipment. I don't understand why they go so high, if you're going to make up lumen counts like this at least do it in the realms of believability.

  • Yes they are being honest on v50 with saying 230 ANSI lumens

  • The white V10 has arrived off AliExpress but I'm confused the specification on power cable which is 7A 125V. Was it supposed to be over 220V? I'm concerned about the safety and wondering what number is on your power cable.

  • On the bottom on the projector it will say 110/240v
