I was just thinking today I haven’t noticed any big sales at Noel Leeming or Harvey Norman for what seems like months. Usually you see on the tv just about every weekend an ad for a big sale, but they’ve both been really quiet. Even on their websites there’s no sales.
Lack of sales/promotions

I’m sure they used to have something every weekend though
Probably just seemed like it!
Most things will just be more expensive, even when on special. Just saw an ads of one of the PnS on FB, something that used to be $2.99/kg on special is now $4.49/kg on the "extra low" sale…haha
From what I gather we're at the end of a refresh cycle, where in the next couple of months new models of TVs start to arrive in stores. However this year is a little different as chip shortages have delayed releases, and limited supply, so there hasn't been the same urgency to sell the old models quickly to make room for new stock.
Not looking too good, according to Gerry
https://www.news.com.au/finance/business/retail/harvey-norma…Yeah, the shipping companies are all laughing their way to the bank. Evergreen was handing out the equivalent of 40 months' salary as year end bonus…haha
prob sales again with easter… but I've compared some products I bought a few years ago and seems like the base/RRP price has gone up 10-20% with inflation etc already
Lack of printer cashbacks
Canon, HP, Epson, Brother have been running printer cashbacks but they haven't been that good.
Epson Expression XP-4100 got down to $70 + $20 cashback + pricematch Warehouse for Mclub vouchers. Was hoping it would come down to $50.
At least you can count on PB Tech to have a 'sale'
Last one's I recall were Waitangi Day, so just about three weeks ago?
