Not sure if it applies here in NZ, but in Australia Klarna performs a hard credit check, which will damage your credit history.
isn't it the same for afterpay, genoapay, humm etc? all of them act negatively on your credit report.
and some of the reviews (them getting collection agency to collect unpaid fees) is understandable
From the reviews the others do "soft" credit checks, which doesn't affect your credit history.
