  • if your nz customer turnover exceeds $60,000 in 12 months, are you going to start charging GST?

      Our advice is that as the product is consumed outside NZ that we don't need to charge GST. This is typically how the multi billion $ incumbents also avoid charging their customers GST on global roaming bills.

    • Hi James, they just arrived 9 minutes ago, however, it's quite worrying that the support does not respond and the orders were not designated until I had to write here. Also, I bought two different esims, there is no mention in the two separate emails which one is which, there is just a PDF attached. Would I know when I am adding them before they are linked to my phone or does it not work that way? Because a lower plan is for another phone. Thank you for your assistance here.

        We've responded to your email. Apologies for the delay, things get a little hectic when we run these big sales occur!

        To clarify, when you activate your eSIM you will receive 100MB Global Data. Once you become active in our customer portal we then add the Data Plans you have purchased.

        We will add the larger plan to the 1st eSIM activated.

        It some ways it doesn't actually matter because you can gift Data between the eSIMs anyway. You can also gift or recieve Data from any other Flexiroam user.

        I hope this helps, we'll be looking our for your eSIM(s) to activate.

    if i buy it now, but my travel is only starting say in june or say july / august , is it ok that its still sits there and then my pack starts only when i activate it ? or does my plan start immediately ? how does it work ?

    • Hi, I noticed when checking out that there is a box to enter when you want your sim plan to start, I am in a similar position that I will travel at the end of this month, however, I surely do not want to go in blind, I will activate it and make sure its working as advertised.

        That part really applies more to our Local Data Plans, which do have a designated start date. (They are also 25% Off at the moment.)

        I'd strongly advise activating and testing with the 100MB of bonus Data that comes with the Starter Pack.

        You can do this without actually activating the larger plan.

        I'm sorry if this all seems a bit confusing, once you're up an running it's really easy I promise!

    • Hi vabtnet,

      When you activate you receive a bonus 100MB valid for 360 days, this commences straight away.

      With any purchased Data Plan you have 90 days to activate it, and then it commences.

      Most of these Data Plans have really long expiry so you should be fine.

      Unused Data will rollover with any new purchase made in App.

      There is also an option to extend the validity of the data plan for a small fee.
