Win 1 of 3 Binoculars (Kids Drawing Competition) @ Department of Conservation (Tauranga District Residents Only)

Who can enter

The competition is open to residents of the Tauranga DOC District (Ōtamarākau to Waihī). There will be one winner in each of the following age categories:

5 – 8 yrs
9 – 12 yrs
13 – 18 yrs

How to enter

Step 1: Complete the drawing challenge

To submit your entry, download the entry form and draw your kekeno. Include your name, age, suburb/town and telephone number and/or email address.

If you are under 18 you will also need a signature from your parent/guardian as consent to enter the competition

Artwork must include

• at least one kekeno
• safety messaging of staying at least 20 m away or to put a dog on the lead

Entries are limited to one entry per person

Entrants must be residents of the Tauranga DOC District only (Ōtamarākau to Waihī).

Step 2: Send it to us

To submit your entry, please take a photo or scan the completed artwork and email a copy to [email protected]

Name your file according to the format: name, age, area (for example, Sam5yMtMaunganui)

Submissions close 5 pm, Sunday 20 March 2022. Winners will be notified by the end of March.

Prizes

All first-place winners will receive a pair of binoculars, a certificate of congratulations and have their artwork displayed as seasonal information signs in the Tauranga DOC District where seals have hauled-out during winter and are resting in public spaces.
