[Gisborne] Design a Street Flag, Win 1 of 2 $300 Gift Cards for any Retailer @ Gisborne District Council

Who can enter?

Anyone from Tairāwhiti Gisborne! All ages are welcome to submit artwork.

What’s the prize?

The winner of each category will receive a $300 gift card, to spend at any retailer.

Winners will see their artwork displayed as street flags in the CBD and some rural townships during the relevant flag display period.

Two design categories

We have 2 categories – Matariki and Summer Fun.

Matariki
Artwork that best captures the spirit of Matariki. Design ideas include:

• A time of remembrance
• Setting intentions for the year ahead
• Gratitude
• History of Matariki and practises
• Mythical beliefs

Summer Fun
Artwork that reflects a vibrant Tairāwhiti summer. Design ideas include:

• Life in Tairāwhiti
• Iconic summer scene
• Fun and festive

How to enter the competition

You can enter one or both categories. Each category entry must be submitted on a separate form.

1. Read the competition information and specifications. This will give you all the details you need to know.
2. Download the Entry Form, Release Form and Template.
3. Apply your artwork to the template.
4. Fill in the entry form and include a description of your artwork.
5. Sign the release form
