I price beat so many things at my warehouse that they've stopped resisting and just do it cause I'd just be there proving it's the same thing and therefore they have to obey their company policy that's set by their head office and not their personal self thus they can't just make their own rules thinking that they own the place they all love doing that.
Generally, for all my price matches in store I always take a pic of the cheaper item at the cheaper store, the price and its barcode to prove its the same thing so they can wiggle out of it.
I asked the supervisior who authorised the price match, if the 10% price policy applies or not. The supervisor said "no not to this product".
I didn't bother to complain as the queue was rather long and plus it was only 20 cents per packet.
They lying. Whay I've found out about workers there is that they just say no to a lot of things so they don't have to do much on the till. Often seen with 2ic and above. Had to train my ones here to actually doing their jobs and doing the price beat. I always specifically say can I get x amount of x product on the 10% price beat thanks. Usually makes them know I'm after the beat roll their eyes but then do it haha
If it's sold at Warehouse and cheaper somewhere else, I'll always get them to price beat it. Everything is going up in price gotta save somewhere

I got them in store at my local Warehouse, they did match the price but didn't beat it by 10%.
