  • Perfect will load my cart today to buy tomorrow. Thanks for the heads up.

  • I had no chance winning that TV last night.

What are you guys talking about?

      • OP said:

I was watching the warehouse live last night

The Warehouse did a Facebook livestream and were giving away prizes to people who commented. $700 LEGO prize pack, some $200 chocolate Easter egg packs and a Samsung 55" TV. But as bigcheese mentioned, the chances of winning were pretty slim.

          So you're telling me there's a chance

          • +2

@roshanNZ: Anything's possible 😎. One of the e-sports I watch, the team that was expected to come last over the weekend or close to it, won the entire thing and took home US200k. Anything's possible.

              @Wakrak: Sucks for Gunless!
              Let's go Optic!

Looking forward to getting 50% off some eggs.

@NZBigC: Yeeesss. OpTic fan here. Unreal run from LAG. Hopefully this means expansion in the near-future considering how well Spart did.

    • Not amongst the 47,000 other people all trying to win!

      • 😂

  • Free shipping with a $45 spend. Do they have click and collect?

    • You're mixing up free shipping with MarketClub+ (on The Market) and MarketClub (The Warehouse).
It's pretty confusing the way they have named it, so not surprising.

For this deal from The Warehouse you can get free shipping using the Free Shipping Codes here

On The Market you can get free shipping over $45 with MarketClub+ membership for a large number of deals, but not all.
There are some click & collect options but they generally charge for this as well.
      It is item/merchant dependent.

  • @bigcheese thanks for the heads up. Darn, now I have to eat all that chocolate I am going to order.

  • Will be a nice treat if this works out, plus would get the goods before easter weekend given how early it is.

  • Stupid question, but how does The Market work.
I've just come back into the country after being 10 years away.

I've signed up for the Market Club (free) not +. So when this deal goes live tomorrow, do you shop as normal from The Warehouse page or via The Market page?

    • Comment above from bigcheese is a good starting point:

      • ahhh makes abit more sense.

So MarketClub is just you having a account on The Warehouse site which should give you this deal starting tomorrow?

        • +1

Pretty much, though it only works through the mobile app I believe. With the app you can often stack multiple MarketClub deals. In-store I think they'll only let you use one per transaction

          • @NeM2k2: Ahhh im all over it now. Thanks for the clarification

        • +1

          Not quite.
Yes you need to have an account with The Warehouse, but you also need to join MarketClub.
Easiest way is you will see a 'Market Club' icon/banner on the app - click on this and register. You will need to put in your mobile phone number which will then be sent a verification code.
Once you do that you will have access to Market Club offers each week that go from Wednesday until Tuesday.
Upon registration you also get a signup bonus of $5 off $5.01 spend valid for a month that will stack with the other offers.

          • @bigcheese: Thanks, just got the app signed in and registered for MarketClub :) thanks

            • +1

              @loveabargin: Good stuff.

Sometimes you can use multiple Market Club offers together.
This is from the FAQ page

The way offers can be used together varies depending on whether you’re shopping in a physical store or if you’re shopping in The Warehouse app.

When shopping in-store you can use more than one MarketClub product/category offer per transaction, as long as you meet the requirements of each offer. However, you cannot use a product/category offer and a basket level offer in the same transaction, nor can you use more than one basket level offer in the same transaction.

When shopping in the app you can use more than one MarketClub product/category offer per transaction, you can also use a product/category offer with a basket level offer in the same transaction, and you can use more than one basket level offer in the same transaction – as long as you meet the requirements of each offer.

What is a product/category offer? It’s an offer that applies to a specific item or group of items, e.g. 20% off Gascraft Portable Gas BBQs or 15% off pet beds.
What is a basket level offer? It’s an offer that applies to the whole purchase, e.g. Spend $50 and get $5 off or get 10% off when you spend $100 or more.

  • Thanks OP.

    • 🙂

  • As a true cheapie, I wait for the 80% off after Easter 😁 (but past year has been slim pickings tho)

  • Smart, they probably learned a lot after being left holding so much stock through a couple of lockdowns. I've noticed Countdown has started discounting before the actual events take place as well.

Hopefully it won't be restricted to certain lines (like Waikato Valley), as those Lindt bunnies look like they could do with a new home

  • Hah, they've bumped their prices a bit (I think)

  • 50% discount is live for the week - worthy of deal of the week to get easter shopping done now :)

  • +1

A fairly good example of TWH discount:

Countdown Cadbury Marshmallow Eggs 150g (6 pack) $4.90

    TWH Cadbury Marshmallow Eggs 150g (6 pack) $3.50 - 50% off = $1.75.

  • +2

Wow got some amazing bargains!! Came to $130 and I got $70 discount so cost me $60 for all 4 of my kids Easter goodies. So stoked!!!

  • Does anyone know why the free shipping code isn't working? Are you only able to use it once?

    • +1

      Correct.

    • +1

Checkout as a guest or create a new account and you can use the free shipping coupons until expiry

      • Thank you

  • +1

FYI the 50% off stacks on the 2 for $X deals too.
    Eg 2 M&M mini eggs for $8 becomes 2 M&M mini eggs for $4!

  • For me it the discount is applied in the cart, but when proceeding to checkout it reverts back to full price?

    Anyone having this issue?

    • +1

Yep. Had to go back n forth 3/4 times until the discount finally appeared on the next screen.

      • Thanks, going back and forth eventually got the discount to show up

        • +2

Just be careful - although the discount showed up on my payment page, I noticed that the full price had still been charged to my credit card. I had to contact Warehouse Chat to get the difference refunded. I think there might be some issues with their ap.

          • +1

@amykt: omg thanks for the heads up. I just checked and I have been changed full price !! They’re going to be busy today! I just tried live chat and it’s unavailable. It’s ALWAYS available lol.

    • +1

      same issue here

    • +1

      Yep same!

  • Mine shows I have to go instore to buy the cheap diabetes, like I have time for that!

    • +1

yeah mine just changed too to instore only… a bit annoying… im gonna message them on live chat

edit: update from live chat - initially they said out of stock online and waiting for stock update - but since its all the easter eggs they said due to high demand and to check the website later

    • Likewise. Something fishy going on here. Guess I was greedy and should have just finished my order when I had the chance?

  • Thanks - see what happens - my cart disappeared

  • This deal is being very weird. Everything is saying instore only but the things I put in my cart yesterday are available to be shipped. But the discount is only on those items when they're shipped and not for click and collect. I'd rather collect chocolate and also the warehouse says the delivery cut off for Easter has closed.

  • At a guess they've decided to shift it to in-store only as hollow eggs are very fragile and they want to minimise returns of damaged stock.

    • I think they have probably sold too many this morning, and need to make sure they can fulfill the current orders.

    • This deal is too hot, they must have sold a lot. The first deal I have seen being discussed both on here and the FB groups…haha

    • Plus they are bulky, 6 boxed eggs to a large box so the freight volume could be pretty extreme.

  • Oh no what a shame changed to instore only! Sorry guys :( Glad I got my order in earlier. It did glitch for a moment for me too.

  • So now that it's all listed as instore only how do you claim the deal? Rock up and do your shopping then show them the app at checkout or something?

    • +1

Go through the checkout (either operator or self-checkout) and scan your Market Club QR code as you are scanning your items.
The discounts will then be applied.

  • At the self-checkout I used the handheld scanner to scan my QR code in the warehouse app. It went blank and wasn’t doing anything for a few seconds but worked eventually!

Just take a sec to double check the discounts have applied when you go to pay for it and that the amount shown on the eftpos screen is the same (heard a couple of people had this issue).

  • No issues redeeming this in-store today using the app in the self-checkout. There were heaps of staff filling baskets for what I assume were click and collect orders - they looked very busy!

    • Was there a ton of stock? I'm just shocked we got such a discount this early

      • Still heaps of stock left but there were also lots of people loading up trolleys and baskets so I'm sure it won't last long.

  • Lots of stock left at my local Warehouse (Atrium Auckland CBD). Compared with what I had in my cart in the app from this morning and the only thing they didn't have was the Caramilk eggs.

The guy at the till saw me with my basket full of Easter stuff and asked me straight away if I was a MarketClub member lol

    • The Atrium is my go-to for these sorts of things because they don't get the amount of people that the larger stores do. C&Cs are typically ready within an hour or two

  • Does the 50% off easter confectionary stack with the $5 welcome voucher in-store?

    • I would say - No.

The $5 coupon is a basket level offer and the 50% off is a category offer.
You can’t combine the two instore.
