Order with Free International Shipping

Orders shipping to New Zealand with at least AUD $59 of eligible items based on the order total inclusive of 10% Australian GST before checkout, qualify for free international shipping.

You can identify eligible items by the "FREE Shipping" message on the product detail or search results pages. Canceling items, combining orders, or changing your shipping address, speed, or preference might affect your order's free shipping eligibility.

The following qualifications also apply:

  • You can only ship to delivery addresses located in New Zealand.
  • FREE Shipping order minimums are based on the Australian dollars (AUD) order total of eligible items inclusive of 10% Australian GST before checkout.

If you're shipping to an address in New Zealand, follow these steps for free shipping:

  1. Set your delivery address to New Zealand.
  2. Add at least the minimum amount required of eligible products in your shopping cart. Any Fulfilled by Amazon item that indicates free shipping on the product detail or search results pages count towards your free shipping order minimum.
  3. Proceed to checkout.
  4. Ship your items to a shipping address in New Zealand.
  5. The FREE Shipping to New Zealand option is selected automatically for customers who meet the eligibility requirement.
  6. Place your order. Your estimated delivery date is stated on the order summary page.

Note: If your order doesn't qualify for free shipping, it may be because:

  • The shopping cart includes items not eligible for FREE Shipping to New Zealand.
  • Only items that qualify for free shipping count towards the minimum dollar requirement. Delivery fees are charged for all other items.
  • The minimum order value is calculated based on the order total of eligible items inclusive of 10% AU GST before checkout and not the 15% NZ GST that is applied at checkout.

Oh, I thought this is a permanent thing? Obviously on select items.

I browse Amazon AU quite often and always see this promo?

    • Pretty sure that date is only for the sale itself rather than the free shipping, no mention of an end date on the free shipping details page.

        Ah,

Makes me think if this really a deal then?

  • Free shipping to NZ when you spend $59 on select items is their standard offering, it's $39 for Australian addresses and it's ongoing with no expiry date. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/help/customer/display.html?node…

They also offer free international shipping for products sold by UK & US Amazon to Australian addresses that spend over $69 on eligible items as well, not sure if we get that or not included in our $59 deal. https://www.amazon.com.au/gp/help/customer/display.html?node…

    Isn’t this just the norm?
Has been this way for months now.

Yes, been standard for many months now.

Yes, it is been like that for a while. This is not a new deal at all.

  • This is a bit of a follow-on from a discussion in the last thread, but since that is now an expired deal, I'll post here.

I have found the search on Amazon to be hard to use.

Specifically, I would like to find all items in, say, 'Pantry Food & Drinks' that are eligible for free shipping to NZ (over $59).

    I tried this search:

    https://www.amazon.com.au/s?k=free+shipping&i=grocery

which returns, 'No results for free shipping in Pantry Food & Drinks' (despite it showing such items on the page just below that message, but unfortunately, it also shows items that are not eligible for the free shipping too, and also includes results that are clearly not in the 'Grocery' or 'Pantry Food & Drinks' categories).

Picking a completely random item such as:

    https://www.amazon.com.au/Genoa-Foods-Mixed-Roasted-Salted/d…

this appears to be within the 'department' of 'Pantry Food & Drinks', and is eligible for the free shipping to NZ on orders over $59.

Are others getting the same results?

If so, any suggestions? Am I doing something silly in terms of my search parameters?

    Thanks,

    Alan,

    • I do find the site lacks the breadcrumbs trail which I normally use to find one item and then head back up the hierarchy tree to see everything in that group.

So yeah, it sucks in that regard too.
