Even if it's not in stock, you can go to the counter and have them order it for you to collect. I haven't tried with an over sized item, but I can't see them charging you for it. From what I can tell, they just do it as a purchase and order it for the store.
Would they charge you the price online or the price in-store? Because sometimes products have a different price to the store.
I haven't tried with something that has a different price but would assume it is the price in store as they just ring it up on their checkout machine and you get a receipt for it. Could ask them to match the online price, though.
Unless an item is advertised on their site as an online only special/promotion or it's glaringly obvious that it's a pricing error then they should be obliged to honor the advertised online price as the webpage serves as nothing more than a digital storefront for products in the physical store.
Call the store you want to buy it from and see if they have it in stock… if yes, go to the store and buy it?
Or if it’s under $400, try marketpoint collection through The Market.
