I almost jumped in but realized the name was spelt odd. Prezzee is not the same as Prezzy,
Prezzee has a limited amount of stores (https://www.prezzee.co.nz/store/) you can exchange your credit for the retailers own gift card, it is quite a good list though, whereas prezzy can be used anywhere that accept visa or master cards.

Thanks, have added the disclaimer in to discern between them. Prezzee is an Australian gift card provider who is now moving into other countries, unfortunate naming convention in NZ it seems with their competition.

    • I have no doubt they will be receiving a letter from Prezzy's lawyers very soon 😄

That was easy. Got both the $75 and $10 voucher within a minute of purchase.

Got a $70 Countdown voucher, $10 JB Hi-Fi voucher & $5 Cotton On voucher. Thanks OP.

    • $50 countdown + $35 JB or Farmers is a good combo as well, in case a cotton on voucher is useless to you.

I went in too quick eh. Converted the $10 voucher without paying much attention to what else was available. But not to worry. Partner will appreciate the $5 Cotton On voucher. Really spoiling her 😄

    • Interesting. I don’t see an option for a $75 countdown Voucher

      • We didn't say we that there was. They do that on purpose

        • Oops sorry I meant $70 countdown. Not $75.

          • +1

            @simch: Oh, it's just a $50 one plus a $20 one.

@Bill: Ah! Thanks. Weird I couldn’t see it yesterday but it’s showing up now :D

  • Can you get a $80 voucher + $10 free voucher —> redeem for $90 countdown gift card?

    • +1

      $75 is the only option

  • so do you purchase $75 and then they email you the $75 gift card voucher with a link to claim the other $10 or what?

    • They send you three emails; purchase confirmation, $75 gift card, $10 gift card.

      • So you select the store for the $10 one in the third email?

  • Anyone knows if I buy the countdown vouchers, can I use it online?

    • +1

Countdown is only redeemable in-store currently it seems.

  • I wonder why they don't allow you to swap multiple prezzee cards in the one transaction? If they'd allowed that I would have bought another $5 card and used the $75, $10 & $5 to get a $90 Countdown card. Or did I miss something and you can use multiple cards?

    • How else are they supposed to make money/rip you off?

      • Yeah that was my first thought as well. As I was juggling trying to work out how best to use the 2 vouchers it reminded me of digital currency in videogames that you have to buy with real money where all the items in the game cost 600 but you can only buy the currency in multiples of 250 or 500.

Why can't NZ'ers just normalise gifting cash instead of going in roundabout ways that make things more difficult for everyone.

          • @Bill: No one gives you a free $10 when you're gifting cash though do they?

            • +1

@[Deactivated]: Yeah but the only reason these exist is because people buy them to gift others instead of simply cash.

  • The link for the full terms and conditions of the countdown voucher isn't even working for me. It gives a 404 error. You are bound to terms you can't even read through, although they have just copied over the terms for all gift cards which seem to be the full terms anyway.

Also, if you try to sell the voucher, they can cancel it.

  • Should note that the terms of the promotion state strictly one voucher per person.

What's the worst they can do? Refund your order?
