Just got a $20 voucher for my birthday, two years in a row. I went to go edit the birthday list and realised that many of them are deals that have been posted on Cheapies.

Don't know if you have to be member for a certain amount of time. I've been a member for a few years now and have made several purchases.

Birthday Voucher

a. Locals may be entitled to a $20 gift voucher on their birthday.
b. A local is only entitled to one voucher per calendar year.
c. The $20 gift voucher will be emailed to the customer on their birth date.
d. The voucher can be redeemed online only by entering the discount code at checkout.
e. The voucher code is only valid for two weeks from the date issued.
f. Voucher code is for single use and is not valid with any other offer.
g. Discount cannot be added after order has been placed and purchases made using the birthday discount do not count towards locals rewards vouchers.
h. Voucher cannot be used on final clearance items.

    What's the definition of a 'Local Member' - local to where exactly?

    I'm a local to my neighbourhood, but the nearest store is miles away, so I'm not local to any of their locations, even the one I go into.

      It's just the name they use for their membership program. You just have to sign up with an email.

    You can also use the voucher in store with $20 minimum spend (using the whole voucher) and on sale items.

    Quick update.. happened to see this post just in time. Signed up last night and got my voucher this morning. Never expected that will work but thought will give it a try. Surprisingly that worked! Thanks Wakrak!
