      Oops, fixed.

  • Don't know what is this for and how useful it is. But got it

    • good if youre travelling outside cell zones or wanting to know about wireless broadband performance it seems

  • If you want to improve your wifi signal use netspot to see what networks are around and then change the channel on your routers

    • Is there a tutorial. Total noob here

        https://www.netspotapp.com/wifi-channel-scanner/how-to-find-…

Basically use comparison graphs see which channels have a gap where there's no other nearby wifi signals nearby and use the middle of that as your channel.
Like for me between 2-6 is empty so using 4 for 2.4ghz
and 5ghz 100+ where there nooone so i use 120

        • Don't most routers generally do this automatically though?

          • +1

@seifer: Can do but just depends on how good the router is.
But you can always check if your router is doing it well with the app by seeing what channel it uses on its own, if you find that its often overlapping rather than using the empty areas then you may want to set it specifically

ooohhh nooo. Only use channel 1, 6 or 11 for your 2.4ghz wifi.
Using any other channels will cause overlap and make wifi even worse (for you AND your neighbours)
