Entry

To enter the prize draw, each entrant must:

• sign up for New Zealand ShakeOut 2022 before 27 October 2022
• choose a Registration Group, and
• agree to go in the draw to win a prize.
• You may only submit one Entry during the Competition Period and each entrant can only win one Registration Group prize.
• You are responsible for ensuring that any information provided as part of an Entry is complete and correct. Incomplete, incorrect, indecipherable, illegible or late entries will be invalid.
• The National Emergency Management Agency reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of Entries and entrants, and to disqualify any entrant who submits an Entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Failure by the National Emergency Management Agency to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights.

Registration groups

ShakeOut registrations are split into the following eight Registration Groups. Each Registration Group will have a separate Prize Draw and Prize(s).

• Individuals and Families
• Businesses/Organisations
• Early Childhood Centre
• Primary School
• Composite School
• Secondary School
• Tertiary Institution
• Other

Primary School and Composite School are combined for the purposes of the Prize Draw. The 'Other' Registration Group will receive either a "Civil Defence Wheelie Bin" for their organisation or "Personal Emergency Grab Bags".

Prize

• 10 to be won for Businesses and Organisations, Primary and Composite schools, Secondary schools, Early Childhood Centres and Tertiary Institutions.
• Each registration will go in the draw to win one of ten Civil Defence wheelie bins.
• The bin will be delivered and stocked with a range of helpful emergency items to help your organisation keep people safe during an emergency.

Personal emergency grab bags

• Up to 18Grab and Go bag to be won for individuals and families.
• Each Individual and Family registration will go in the draw to win personal emergency grab bags for their household.
• The grab bags will be delivered and will include a number of emergency items to help keep you safe during an emergency.
