They (Restaurant Brands) are closing stores, not opening them.
Avondale has been turned into a KFC, which is strange as there's another one nearby at Lynnmall, and Auckland Airport has turned into a Taco Bell.
There is a real lack of diversity in fast food for the wellington region imo
and i miss gettings carls jr when i travel to imax! it was my go to treat!
The one in otahuhu is gone too, that was the first, cbd is another,

I believe the Takanini one was the first but it wasn't owned by Restaurant Brands at the time but yes, the Otahuhu one was the first opened by them. Carl's Jr was great at first, they were packed first couple of weeks, then profiting took priority.
