Best phone company for 5gb per month

If your using about 5gb per month this works with 2 degrees.
$70 pack gets 25gb rollover data then the $10 pack for 4 months to keep the data rolling over = $22 per month over 5 months using 5gb per month.
No annoying reduced speed data no fear of running out or not using up your quota.
Can keep the same phone number too I kept my 020 skinny phone number.

Kogan. Beats all. I'm paying $10.41 per month. 4gb

Kogan if you do not care how terrible the support is.
Took them 3 days to reply to a query.
Hoping their prices nudge the big three to give us better value for money

    • Have you used Skinny's support? After 3 months, dealing with different customer support person every time I follow up, 2 "escalations", issue was still not resolved.

        Nope only Spark and voda.
Spark is definitely better voda has a terrible phone line I can bearly understand their offshore staff.

    • Weird the 3 or 4 times i have needed something it was resolved within 5mins (via the online chat) - so find that way better than Spark which i was paying nearly 5x the price for.

The real problem with Kogan is the absolutely shitty Vodafone network compared with the Spark one - I get terrible reception in all sorts of places you wouldnt expect it. The most annoying being my home office in central Auckland. And its definitely the network, others on VF who have been at my house for instance have the same issue and also complain about it .

Does Kogan do wifi calling? I'm on VFand wifi calling means no reception problems at home anymore.

        • Seems they do, I didnt have it enabled on my phone - duh.. Thanks for pointing out . Wont solve out and about - but hopefully will be much better at home.

You can buy a cheap Kogan sim, change to warehouse mobile with a $1 sim and do the keep my number thing for free 5gb of data when you buy a $4 data pack with the free $5 credit from the warehouse sim. 5.5gb of data and $1 of extra credit for calls/texts. Not sure how much the Kogan sims are but if they are $1 then that would be $2 and a bit of hassle for 5.5gb and $1 of credits.
